I am new author on Knowledge Junction site, Thanks Knowledge Junction for giving me an opportunity. I will be writing an articles on Scratch the programming language tool

What is Scratch?
- Scratch is a block-based visual programming language tool for coding
- It is drag and drop programming language tool
- It is very good programming language for making games, movies, stories, and for coding robots.
- First version (0.x, 1.x) of Scratch is written in Squeak
- Second Version(scratch 2.0) of Scratch is written in ActionScript
- Third version (Scratch 3.0) of Scratch is written in JavaScript.
I will be writing articles on Scratch 3.0 version

- Scratch also has its own paint editor and sound editor built-in
- Scratch is used in more than 150 different countries and available in more than 60 languages.
History of Scratch
Scratch began development in 2003 and was released to the public in 2007. scratch1.0, the first version, was very similar to scratch 1.4. At that time, only the offline editor existed; the website was a small blog where projects could be uploaded and played. As Scratch grew, the website was made larger. scratch 1.1, Scratch 1.2, Scratch 1.4, were released. At this point, Scratch had millions of users, projects, and a lot of new features. Scratch continued to grow, achieving 30 million users and projects. scratch 3.0 was released in 2019. Mitch Resnik, the creator of the super-simple Scratch programming language.
