Error while creating "My Site Host" site collection

Hi All,

Today new issue 🙂 and solution 🙂

Background / Use Case: I am getting an opportunity to work with SharePoint 2019 On-Premises environment. Since last 3-4 years working on M365 (SharePoint Online) didn’t got chance to know more about SharePoint On-Premises environment.

So now started working on SharePoint 2019 On-Premises environment.

We have to enable “Self-Service site creation” on one of web application. We enabled it from Central Administration. But still we couldn’t see any link to “SharePoint Home Page” in suit bar as

So after bit googling it found that we need “My Site Host site”. So I thought I will go create a new site collection of template type “My Site Host” as

But then while creating “My Site Host” getting an issue / exception.
