Kerala Sāmbhar – Ammachi Special

A doorbell rang and the neighbours, attracted by the fine smell, asked Ammachi about recipe for her delicious Sambhar. Super-tasty Sambhar with all the flavours vegetables and spices. That day I decided to write down her favourite recipes in a blog. Let everyone enjoy the taste of appetizing Sambhar.

Grand children in Kerala call their grandmother as ‘Ammachi’ or ‘Ammama’ in Malayalam. Yes she is my daughter’s Ammachi.

I always try to write using less text and more images because visuals are processed 60,000 times faster than text. And I believe that text-based communication’s life is lesser then visuals-based information.

Here I am starting with :-
